The original kitchen was looking very tired with its 1980s red benchtops and filthy stove, so it had to go! Its removal only took three guys less than an hour, it was amazing.
Next day, with a few hiccups, the new kitchen began, followed by tiling the next day.
Painting took more paint and more time than we thought, with staining to be done on the skirtings and window and door frames.
New light fittings throughout, new built-ins for Kerrran and new wardrobe doors for Jessie all took time and organisation, sometimes frustrating from a distance, but its all worth it now.
The new screen doors look great and finish the exterior off well. A few potplants and the oplace is beginning to look and flle like home. Even Rick says he could live here now!
