Kerran loves his sport. It took us some time to convince him that he could miss one year of cricket and football to follow in Jessie's footsteps - it was a brave move to travel to Switzerland in 2002 at 15 years of age! But I think he'd agree it was well worth the sacrifice. Living in Zurich certainly opened his eyes.
Kerran plays Aussie Rules football for Walkerville this year, but has a broken leg at the moment (mind you he payed a full game of football after it was broken!!!) and hopes to play cricket for the same club in summer.
He was selected as Kingston Young Citizen of the Year for 2006 after making a significant contribution to his local and school community for the past few years.
Carrying the Queen's Baton at Goolwa, South Australia was a highlight of his young 20 years.
This is a great photo with Kevin, Kerran's godfather, whom Kerran loves and respects. they have many similar interests and even have similar personalities (hopefully Kevin agrees!).
