Jessie

Jessie turned 21 on February 17th 2006.
She completed all but one year of her schooling in Kingston. In 2001 she attended school in Duderstadt, Germany on an AFS exchange., then returned to complete her final years of schooling in Kingston.

She now attends Adelaide University where she is in her second year of a double degree - Law/Arts. She also works part time at the Crown Inn Hotel (where she completed a traineeship in 2004) in Kingston during her holidays and on weekends.

In 2000 Jessie was lucky enough to be chosen to carry the Olympic Torch at Penola, South Australia, about 130km east of Kingston. It was a bitterly cold July winter's day, like no other.

In 2003 she was Kingston Young Citizen of the Year, having been keenly and actively involved in numerous community and school activities over a number of years.

For a great photo of Jessie carrying the Olympic Torch, look up:

and type in Jessie Wingard

Unfortunately we didn't have a digital camera then, so will have to scan a photo and upload later.
