The Cape Jaffa lighthouse has been brought ashore and re-assembled in the town as a reminder of the past.
Several families once lived in the lighthouse (when it was out to sea), returning to shore about every 3 months! Imagine living out on a reef facing those treacherous storms from the Southern Ocean.
Living on the coast is certainly an experience when it comes to wind!
